In FIFA 23, the chemistry system of the previous parts is revised. There will no longer be a negative effect with poor chemistry.

In FIFA 23 some features of the predecessor will be adapted and changed. This includes the extremely popular online game mode FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT). The chemistry system will be significantly revised in the upcoming title. This was revealed by EA Sports in a trailer on Thursday.

How the chemistry system works in FUT 23

Before, chemistry in FUT was only determined between players who stood next to each other on the pitch and were thus connected. In addition to position, nationality, league and club each played a role. These factors determined the chemistry of the players, which in turn could increase the values of the cards in the game. However, this system will be revised with FIFA 23.

In the trailer it is explained that the connections between the players apply to the whole team. So in FIFA 23 the nationality, the club and the league will play a role. In the new system chemistry points are collected over the whole pitch. This also increases the chemistry if, for example, the goalkeeper and a striker have something in common.

Thanks to this change, FIFA players have more freedom in the composition of their own team and are not dependent on lining up footballers from the same league or the same nationality next to each other.

In FIFA 23, the team does not receive a reduction in values if the chemistry is low. However, a high chemistry still has a very positive effect on the team.
