FIFA 24 is called EA Sports FC. What else is already known about EA FC 24, you can find out in this article.

The long lasting relationship between FIFA and EA Sports is over. Electronic Arts loses the naming rights. So the successful FIFA series will have a new name from this year on: EA Sports FC. Maybe with a 24 at the end – maybe not. Find out what else we know about the football simulation in this article.

When will EA Sports FC be released?

“When is the new FIFA coming out?” – Unfortunately, we can’t answer this frequently asked question with an exact date. However, the developer EA SPORTS announced to provide more information this summer. Based on past releases of the FIFA series, a release on Friday, September 29 for the EA SPORTS FC game seems likely.

What game modes will be included?

The developers promise that little will change in the usual experience. All game modes you know from the FIFA parts will remain part of EA Sports FC. The most important ones are probably Ultimate Team, the Career ModePro Clubs and VOLTA Football

So you don’t have to do without anything. On the contrary – the possibilities are to grow:

  • Bump
  • EA Ultimate Team
  • Online Seasons
  • Tournaments
  • Pro Clubs
  • VOLTA Exhibition
  • Arena
  • EA SPORTS FC 24 Career Mode – Online
  • Women’s Career Mode

This makes it three new modesthat are circulating in the discussion about EA Sports FC.

What happens to the licences?

Ahead of the game: Your favourite leagues will stay with you. EA keeps the partnerships and delivers exclusive licenses with the Bundesliga, Premier League, La Liga, Serie A as well as the MLS. At least that is what it says in a press release. According to statements by the developer, further licences are to follow.

Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, LaLiga Santander, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, CONMEBOL Libertadores, Barclays Women’s Super League, NWSL and many more are partners of EA SPORTS FC.

EA Sports FC comes with a range of over 19,000 players, more than 700 teams, over 100 stadiums and 30 leagues. In total, fans of the series should once again look forward to the cumulative package of more than 300 licensing partners that are expected to collectively represent the football complex.

In addition to the well-known licences, other competitions and leagues are also to come into play.

According to FIFA-Insider (ReFIFA) for the first time in the history of the popular sports simulation an African league will be implemented in the game. It is not yet known which one it is. However, the YouTuber suspects Morocco or Egypt. Accordingly, the respective clubs should also be included in the game.

Besides the new league, a not so popular competition will also be represented in EA Sports FC: The UEFA Nations League.

Since EA recently ran a sponsorship ad during the semi-final match between Spain and Italy, ReFIFA now suspects that a partnership is behind it.

If this is the case, not only would the competition come into play with branding, trophy etc., but also the 55 licensed national teams. Including Germany, Spain, England and many more.

Will there be any innovations?

In addition to the new game modes, women are to make their way into the Ultimate Team mode, according to FIFA leakers. This would be the first football simulation from EA in which you can include women in your dream team.
