At Publisher EA’s own game fair EA Play on June 18th there were finally new infos about FIFA 21. For the current versions there is now a release date.

For the PlayStation 5 and XBox Series X there is no fixed release date for FIFA 21 yet, but the current console generation already got a date: FIFA 21 will be released on 09. October!

Pre-orderers of the Ultimate and Champions editions can get a taste of it even faster, because they will get access on October 06th. Those who can’t wait at all will get access to the so called Play First Trials via EA or Origin Access already on October 1st.

That means you can test the full game with time limit in advance.

Upgrade to the new generation? No problem!
All players who intend to buy the next console generation don’t have to buy FIFA 21 twice! Thanks to the new “Dual Entitlement” system all buyers of the PS4 and XBox One versions of the game will also get a full version for the new consoles.

There is only one small catch. If you get the CD version for PlayStation 4 and then buy a PlayStation 5 without a drive, you can’t upgrade for the time being, as EA Sports confirms.

Of course, the versions for the new consoles should benefit directly from their features. Among other things, you can expect better graphics, faster loading times and improved controller feedback.

It hasn’t been announced yet which gameplay improvements you can look forward to in FIFA 21. But we already know that Career Mode, VOLTA Mode, Pro Clubs and FIFA Ultimate Team will definitely be back on board.
