New leaks about the RTX 4000 Super seem to confirm the release of the new Nvidia graphics cards – and the release is probably closer than expected

In recent weeks, the rumor mill surrounding a possible “Super” refresh of Nvidia’s RTX 4000 graphics cards has been picking up speed.

After various – sometimes contradictory – leaks about possible specifications emerged, it now seems to have been confirmed that Nvidia is indeed planning to launch the RTX 4000 Super GPUs in the near future.

The three graphics cards that will be relaunched with Super are the RTX 4080, RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Ti.

RTX 4000 Super: This is what the new logo should look like

A new image of the latter graphics card has emerged, which was shared on the X platform by the usually well-informed MEGAsizeGPU.

The post is said to show the RTX 4070 Ti Super logo, which is intended to serve as a blueprint for the various custom designs that will be launched as part of the GPU launch

Now, of course, such a leak is not to be seen as official confirmation, but the leaker MEGAsizeGPU has already shared such preview images of logos and packaging of previous graphics cards several times in the past – and has usually been right.

Accordingly, it is assumed that at least the RTX 4070 Ti Super will actually be launched on the market; the other two new editions should therefore also be considered confirmed

RTX 4000 Super: Presentation at CES 2024?

Even when the first rumors about the RTX 4000 Super surfaced, a release this year was considered unlikely. Apparently, however, Nvidia still wants to get down to business as quickly as possible.

As the leaker kopite7kimi reports, the GPU manufacturer will be present at the upcoming CES 2024 to present the new graphics cards – or at least the RTX 4070 Ti Super.

The trade fair itself will take place from January 9 to 12, 2024 in Las Vegas (USA) and is to a certain extent the starting signal for the upcoming technology year – so it is not unlikely that Nvidia will also be represented with the new products

The information itself is also consistent with past leaks, which have also dated the RTX 4080 Super to early 2024.

Now we need your opinion: Is a release of the “Super” graphics cards for the RTX 4000 early next year too early for you? Is the intermediate step up to the RTX 5000 the right approach from Nvidia? What is the maximum price of the super refresh compared to the original model to convince you to buy it? Let us know in the comments below:
