To celebrate the approaching release of Final Fantasy XVI, Square Enix has organised a special advertising campaign in Japan. This also heralds the preload of the highly anticipated fantasy adventure.
To celebrate the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XVI, Square Enix presents a 3D animation on a billboard in the streets of Shinjuku (Tokyo). On it we see the Espir Ifrit, Odin and Shiva fighting an epic battle – a little taste of what awaits us in the days to come.
All about the preload & launch
The promotion comes just in time. After all, the preload of Final Fantasy XVI has started on 20 June. Since the download size is 90.5 GB, you should definitely use the two days for the launch. Of course, you can also use these days to take a last look at the demo. PS Plus subscribers pay nothing, but everyone else has to pay 25 cents for age verification. Of course, you can transfer the progress you’ve made into the main game later on.
On 22 June at 0 o’clock Final Fantasy XVI will finally start its official release. So big fans can just stay awake a little longer and take their first steps in Valisthea.
