Fans have edited a movie from all of Fortnite’s trailers and in-game events that is more than a simple stringing together of cinematics.

Five years have passed since Fortnite saw the light of day. In this time, the Battle Royale has brought a proud 20 seasons, which are divided into three larger chapters. These chapters even include a thoroughly complex story, which is told via cinematic trailers and in-game events.

The people behind the (Youtube channel Top5Gaming) have now edited together all the material, whether cinematic trailers, audio excerpts or in-game footage into an almost hour-long video and formed an ongoing story out of it.

You can watch the fan film here:

What’s special: Instead of just stringing together all the cinematic trailers, Top5Gaming has taken the trouble to record important gameplay events, audio recordings and other often inconspicuous but small extras that make the fan film really round. These events usually happen at the end of a season and can only be experienced if you are in the game at the right moment. They also often have an impact on the game world and introduce new gameplay content. An example of this is the rocket launch, which can be seen at 11:36 minutes in the film.

But watch out
: The story continues to be quickly confusing for all newcomers to Fortnite, as there is also no classic thread with a protagonist throughout the story. It is more about the Fortnite island and its constant change. The film is therefore more aimed at fans who nostalgically remember the first steps of the Battle Royals and marvel at the big in-game events again or for the first time if they were not there live.

Where is Fortnite right now?

Fortnite is now in the second season of Chapter 3. After Marvel heroes like Iron Man and Captain America, but also DC heroes like Batman, have already made their way to the action-packed island a few seasons ago, Star Wars antagonist Darth Vader himself recently came into play. You can watch the short teaser trailer here:

Are you nostalgic for the early days of Fortnite, do you think the shooter has improved with each season or does the battle royal shooter still leave you cold? Feel free to let us know in the comments!
