Highlight of the week: Lost Records
(Genre: Adventure – Developer: Don’t Nod – Release: February 18 (Steam)
With Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is the next adventure from Don’t Nod, the creators of story highlights like Life is Strange and Banishers.
You experience the summer of 1995 as Swann, an introverted teenager who forms a punk band with her friends – but then something happens that drives the friends apart. The game alternates between 1995 and 2022, with your decisions in both timelines influencing the course of the story.
A central element of the game is Swann’s camcorder, which you use to explore and record the town of Velvet Cove. The game’s conversations are designed to be dynamic, allowing you to interrupt or simply remain silent, which in turn influences your relationships and the course of the story.
Note:; The game will be released in two episodes, Tape 1: Bloom on February 18, 2025 and Tape 2: Rage on April 15, 2025.
