The Season 2 of Chapter 3 in Fortnite is nearing its end. With update 20.40, it was revealed that the conclusion of the current Season on June 3 and the kick-off of Season 3 will be celebrated with a live event.

Although Epic Games is still keeping quiet about the event, there are already first information and hints. With the update 20.40, the gigantic machine The Collider appeared on the map and drained the water from the neighbouring rivers. It is supposed to play a central role in the live event. After all, the construction of the machine was commissioned by Sloane, who is even shown in a leak together with Doctor Doom.

The Marvel villain could therefore make an appearance in Fortnite during the live event and interfere in the battle between the Imagined Order and Seven. The mecha leader could also make another appearance in the Battle Royale with the end of Season 2. Fortnite itself released a soundtrack on Twitter showing its face at the end.

Already in Chapter 1, the mecha leader was seen as a weapon used to fight giant monsters. Because of this, there could be a huge change to the map. Some leaks and information indicate that the map could be moved to outer space in Season 3.
