The Golden Horde aims to offer impressive graphics and an open world as big as Elden Ring
Do you like open-world role-playing games that are also really pretty? Then the Uzbek developer studio Doomers Entertainment has some exciting news for you: Their project The Golden Horde will use the powerful Unreal Engine 5. To coincide with this announcement, a very first teaser trailer has been released, which is definitely worth a look – you can see it here:
This is what awaits you in the new open-world role-playing game
What’s inside: The Golden Horde takes you to 13th century Mongolia, an era characterized by power struggles and political intrigue between the various Mongol clans. And this is exactly where the action begins
The game presents itself as a first-person single-player role-playing game with dynamic battles and a large selection of melee weapons, bows and horses. Of particular interest is the developers’ promise that every decision the character makes will have tangible consequences
The developers also promise four different endings, four factions and a large number of random events. The game world covers a huge 76 square kilometers, which is roughly the size of the open world of Elden Ring.
Doomers Entertainment also wants to make full use of all the important technologies of Unreal Engine 5 – including Lumen (lighting), Nanite (geometry) and Metahumans (characters). You can get a first impression of this in the trailer above
When will it be released? An exact release date for The Golden Horde has not yet been set. However, as it is an indie title, you should keep your expectations low, even if the first impression is undoubtedly promising. At the moment we only have a nice glimpse of the setting, but the potential for more is already obvious.
