A Plague Tale: Innocence was one of the biggest story surprises of recent years. The third-person adventure even made it onto our list of the 100 best story games! We play the young Amicia, who has to protect her little brother Hugo after a raid on their home – the Inquisition has a special interest in the sickly boy. Meanwhile, a dangerous plague of rats breaks out: The aggressive animals even attack humans.

It has been known for some time that the second part of “A Plague Tale:Requiem” is being worked on. There was also a short teaser to be seen. Now some new gameplay mechanics have been introduced in the trailer. For example, Hugo is now able to see enemy soldiers through walls with the help of rats, as in Assassin’s Creed. The areas also seem more spacious than in the tubular predecessor.

At the end of the video, we also learn the release date: On 18 October 2022, the action adventure will be released for the PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and the Switch.
