Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red has great potential to become the crowd favourite of the series. Now there is a first hint as to when the game might be released.

After years of impatience, Ubisoft has finally listened to the pleas of the community and placed an upcoming Assassin’s Creed title finally in feudal Japan. However, apart from a not-particularly-expressive trailer, we still know quite little about the title.
From a marketing point of view, this makes perfect sense. After all, they want to get Mirage, which will be released in October, over the line first.

Nevertheless, a first hint about the title has recently come to light. A certain Arisa Lagunzad from the “Business Development and Brand Partnership” team is looking for sponsors and partners for Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red in 2024.
According to this, the game should be in the final production phase next year in order to be presentable for potential partners. This in turn could point to a release in 2024.

However, Ubisoft has not exactly covered itself with glory in recent years when it comes to punctual releases. So it’s best to wait for the release of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage and then hope for news on Codename Red.
