A new title update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is coming soon, but there is no official release date yet. But we have some first information about the content.
A new title update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is actually already overdue. At least, if Ubisoft keeps up the usual rhythm – the big patch 1.3.0 was released at the end of July and normally a new title update comes every five weeks. And Ubisoft delivers, because update 1.3.1 is just around the corner.
What’s in the new update?
When will the Title Update 1.3.1 be released? The patch will be released on 7 September 2021 for all platforms, i.e. PC and consoles.
How big is the download? As usual, the download varies greatly depending on the platform. Here is the individual listing:
- PC: 26.49 GB
- PlayStation 4: 30 GB
- PlayStation 5: 14.31 GB
- Xbox One: 26.23 GB
- Xbox Series X/S: 34.05 GB
What new content is available
As usual for large patches, the title update for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla offers a mix of new content and bug fixes. Players can look forward to the following new features with the patch:
– Three new maps for the River Raids and new loot has been added to the River Raids (including a short sword!).
DLCs for AC Valhalla: Everything we know about release, content and price
- Jomswiking Hall can be upgraded to level 4-5, allowing you to hire higher level Jomswikers.
- New combat difficulty: Nightmare (more damage taken, meals heal less, shorter reaction window when parrying)
- Targeted Rune Attachment: Runes only affect the weapon they are attached to – for example, you can now attach different runes and effects to left and right handed weapons.
- Benefit & Rune Benefit Limit Removal: Limit removed, which previously meant that benefits and rune benefits could only be stacked up to a certain point.
- Bugfixes: Of course, numerous bugs have been fixed again.
In addition, there are once again three new skills for Eviro, which you can find in the monasteries of the river raids:
- Spear Vortex: Eivor performs a spinning attack. Opponents who are hit are thrown back. Can be combined with other hooked spear abilities.
- Tympanic Arrow: Hitting an enemy shield with this ability creates a shockwave that deals damage and staggers nearby enemies
- Aimed Axe Throw: Eivor performs a powerful axe throw aimed directly at an opponent’s weak spot
