Two of the eight races for Age of Empires 4 were previously only known by name. But at the Opening Night Live of gamescom 2021, the final details were revealed here as well. The new gameplay trailer briefly introduces both factions. Among them are their special units. On the Rus side, for example, the variable Steltsky fight, while the HRR relies on Landsknechts with two-handed weapons. The Moscow campaign of the Rus is also teased.
The trailer does not reveal anything about the factions. But the developers have already revealed more details about the Rus and the Holy Roman Empire in advance.
