According to a leak, GTA 6 is borrowing a special mechanic from Alan Wake 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2

A fresh leak about GTA 6 assumes that you will have to get used to the availability of weapons. Rockstar is said to be using a system that you can currently see in Alan Wake 2 and was already in use in a similar form in Red Dead Redemption 2.

No more arsenal in your pocket

What’s the leak about? &nbspAccording to the X account Rockstar Universe, the weapons you can carry in GTA 6 will be limited more by realistic standards. The leak is not more specific, but this clip from Alan Wake 2 is said to be representative of the system in GTA 6:

In the clip you can see how the character has a handgun in his holster and then hangs a rifle over his shoulder A complete animation is required to change

In addition, further weapons should be accessible via a travel bag or the boot of a car. (According to Rockstar Universe) this should work in a similar way to Red Dead Redemption 2. There you can also stow additional weapons in the saddlebags of your horse

What would this mean for GTA 6? &nbspIf this leak turns out to be true, quite a lot. It would be quite a departure from the previous weapon system. In GTA 5, you can carry a variety of weapons and quickly switch between them

So it would be a greater step towards realism if players could no longer pull the “rocket launcher out of your pocket”.

How credible is the leak?  Alongside Rockstar Universe (confirms Rockstar Intel), another X account specializing in leaks about GTA 6, the statements. As always, however, this is information that may be either incorrect or outdated and should be treated with caution.

If this leak turns out to be correct, the gameplay of GTA 6 would be very different from its predecessors at this point. What would you think of a Grand Theft Auto with more realism? Would it be a contemporary evolution of the series for you or too much of a change and the wrong step for GTA? Feel free to write your opinion in the comments.
