This is what you get for free with Season 1 of Aliens
Gameplay content comes free: As mentioned earlier, the most important content of Season 1 of Fireteam Elite is free for owners of the main game. Not only do you get a range of new weapons, but you can also try your hand at a new class. Here you get an overview:
New class “Phalanx “: Class equipped with a shield that can only use a one-handed weapon. In return, their shield offers more protection, while the Phalanx can fall back on a shock pulse. The class should be particularly efficient for fighting androids and can be equipped with 15 specific perks.
New Weapons:
- L59 Minigun
- N79 EVA Laser
- L33 Pike Rifle
- Type 88 Heavy Assault Rifle
New Cosmetics: Last but not least, with Season 1 of Fireteam Elite, you can earn new helmets, as well as new paint schemes and stickers for your weapons.
Teaser trailer for Season 1: By the way, there is a short teaser trailer for all the free content of the update, which gives you a better impression of the Phalanx class, weapons and cosmetics. Just take a look for yourself:
You can pay money for this DLC.
Separate DLC with cosmetics is available for money: If the contents of Season 1 for Aliens are not enough for you, you can buy a separate update. The DLC “Wey-Yu Armory” is also available now, but not for free. For ten euros you can get the expansion, which consists exclusively of the following cosmetic items:
- Two “Wey-Yu” armour skins for each class (12 in total)
- Four helmet accessories
- Four weapon colour schemes
- Four stickers
- Four emotes
- Three Consumable Packs
- One Credit Pack with 12,000 credits and 750 reputation points
- One Challenge Card Pack
If you own the so-called Endeavor Pass (which is included in the Deluxe Edition of Aliens: Fireteam Elite), then you will get the Wey-Yu-Armory-DLC at no further additional cost.
What’s next for Aliens: Fireteam Elite?
After Season 1 of Aliens: Fireteam Elite, at least three more are planned. So you can look forward to a total of four seasons of post-launch content for the co-op shooter. What they will bring, however, is not yet known at this time.
