A small competition is currently underway to create one of the first publicly known ornaments for the new Anno
Show yourselves, you beautiful builders! If you want to build pretty cities in Anno, you should prick up your ears now. A first competition is currently running on Anno Union, the winner of which can contribute their own ornament for Anno 117. Beautiful builders in particular will certainly be placing ornaments on a grand scale again, and it would be only too nice if one of them came from your own idea.
Design your own statue
Who would have expected anything else! Of coursethe first ornament for Anno 117 will be a Roman statue Ubisoft Mainz has provided a small template for the competition, which fans can now use to let off steam. All you have to do is complete the given silhouette of a statue and then send this work of art to Ubisoft. With a good idea, a little skill and a bit of luck, your work will then be chosen to appear in the game as an ornament
It is also sufficient if you just use the silhouette as a basis and add further details. For example, there’s nothing stopping you from putting a magnificent helmet on your statue’s head. The only restriction is that your statue should fit into Roman antiquity in the broadest sense. A requirement that the team itself does not adhere to in its examples:

- The deadline for entries is July 14 at 11:59 pm
- Everyone can send in two pictures.
- You can draw both digitally and with real pencils.
- The theme should be related to Ancient Rome.
- Send the files as .png or .jpg.
- Submit the proposals via email [email protected].
- KI must not be used for creation.
- The contributions must not infringe any copyrights.
If your image is submitted, it will be entered into the selection process. The development team will then review all submissions and select five favorites. The community can then vote from July 22 to 28 and actively decide which ornament will actually appear in Anno 117
As you can see, the competition is already fierce! But maybe you’ll manage to design an even more impressive statue after all. It’s definitely worth a try!
