After months of speculation, it has finally been revealed that Fortnite will host an in-game concert called Rift Tour. This one will most likely feature Ariana Grande.
Epic Games is kicking off August with a bang. According to their own statements, they are bringing a “record-breaking superstar” to the island for a virtual concert – and all signs currently point to Ariana Grande. The music star’s concert was already predicted a few weeks ago by an anonymous leaker who was already right with his announcements about Superman, Rick Sanchez and LeBron James.
Following other artists like Travis Scott and Marshmello, gamers and music lovers can look forward to many hits, extravagant images and (hopefully) a new Ariana skin that fans can wear in the game.
Ariana Grande concert launch date & times
If you want to attend the Ariana Grande concert you have the opportunity to do so from 7 to 9 August. Everyone should be able to see all concerts regardless of region or time zone. If that doesn’t work, just change your matchmaking region under Settings to the appropriate region.
Epic Games has set up a separate tab for the event via the Rift Tour tab. This will allow players to enter the show times they wish to attend and view the latest Rift Tour orders.
To watch Ariana Grande’s concert in Fortnite, players will need to log into Fortnite an hour before the scheduled event time. The playlist for the Rift Tour should then appear 30 minutes before the event.
Rift Tour orders
Accompanying the Rift Tour, an initial set of orders is now available. These can be completed between 29 July and 9 August to unlock the first rewards.
Epic Games has announced more big news about the Rift Tour for 2 August. Perhaps the final announcement will be made here that the “record-breaking superstar” is indeed Ariana Grande.
