Leaked gameplay footage of the mobile game Assassin’s Creed Jade is currently circulating on the internet. We’ll tell you what you can see in the video here.

Ubisoft just can’t save itself from leaks: A few months ago, there were already some involuntary releases of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, now gameplay scenes of the mobile game Jade have surfaced on the internet. Battle scenes, cutscenes, climbing on the Great Wall of China – it’s all there.

The latest leak has surfaced (on Reddit). The user /u/dattuu posted a video in the Assassin’s Creed subforum that he said he had found on Facebook. However, it is already no longer available there.

What is available is an official teaser trailer, which you can watch here:

What we knew so far

Assassin’s Creed: Jade will be an open-world game for Android and iOS. It is set in China during the time of the Three Kingdoms – specifically, the year 325 BC is mentioned. Unlike the other AC parts, we can even build our own character in Jade.

What’s in the Leak

In the leaked video, we see the main character on the Great Wall during an attack by the Xiongnu horse people. There is climbing, balancing and finally fighting with swords as attackers scale the wall, whereupon a cutscene starts.

What else we can find out from the leak:

  • Roleplaying game like Valhalla: Jade seems to be more along the lines of the more recent AC parts and will probably be an action role-playing game again. Apparently we level up our character and our enemies walk through the world with life bars over their heads.
  • User Interface: Otherwise AC: Jade is a pretty classic Assassin’s Creed. Again, there is a minimap in the upper right corner, and quest markers show us the way to the next objective.
  • Touch control: Attacks with sword and co. can of course be controlled on the mobile phone with the touchscreen, one Ultimate Skill probably causes particularly much damage to the enemies.

Other Assassin’s Creed projects

But not all future AC games will be role-playing focused like Valhalla, Odyssey and apparently Jade: the next Assassin’s Creed is said to return to the roots of the series.

Do you fancy an Assassin’s Creed on mobile? Do you think the game will work as well on mobile as it does on the big screen? Let us know in the comments. You’re also welcome to tell us which upcoming part of the series you’re particularly looking forward to.
