When will Assassin’s Creed Shadows be released?
First things first: Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on November 15, 2024for PC, MacOS, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
However, owners of a Ubisoft+ Premium subscription, the Gold Edition or the Ultimate Edition of AC Shadows will be able to make the trip to Japan three days earlieron November 12.
Will Shadows be released on Steam?
No. No Steam release is planned for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, at least for the time being Although several Ubisoft titles have also been released on Valve’s sales platform in the past, Ubisoft is currently planning to sell the game exclusively on its own storeUbisoft Connect(formerly Uplay) and the Epic Games Store.

What editions are available and how much do they cost?
Assassin’s Creed Shadowswill be available in four different versions, each with different content depending on the price. These are:

The final system requirements for Assassin’s Creed Shadows are not yet known,however, a placeholder overview recently appeared in the Epic Games Store, which gives you a rough idea of what kind of computer you need to play the latest installment in the series. How big is the game world?
The game world of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be roughly the same size as the world map of the 2018 series installmentOrigins, which covered around 80 square kilometers. The map depicts the so-called Kansai region, the traditional Japanese heartland around the cities ofOsaka, Kobe, Nara and the former capital Kyoto
On the physical map of the Collector’s Edition game, you can see that the map covers the medieval provinces of Tamba, Harima, Wakasa, Omi, Yamashiro, Settsu, Iga, Yamato and Kii. Accordingly, we will be able to explore numerous real historical locations such as the castles of Himeji and Azuchi.
What does Assassin’s Creed Shadows offer?
Now that we’ve said enough about details such as prices and system requirements, we don’t want to withhold from you what Assassin’s Creed Shadows has to offer in terms of gameplay.
Like the London spin-offSyndicateShadows will focus on two main characters– the shinobi Naoe and Yasuke, a loyal samurai from the retinue of the general Oda Nobunaga. While Yasuke is more responsible for the rough stuff with his katana, Naoe takes care of the sneaking part of missions.
A whole host of new ninja tools are at your disposal, including the ability to breathe underwater with a straw. The stealth gameplay has also been reworked, for example you can now crawl flat on the ground
A dynamic change of seasons that lets you experience Japan in spring, summer, fall and winter is one of the special graphical features.
