A new Rune Forge, Tombs of the Fallen 2, and the return of the Oskoreia Festival – Assassin”s Creed Valhalla gets a boost today with update 1.6.1.
Assassin”s Creed Valhalla has already been around for a few years, but still gets new updates. Version 1.6.1 is now available, which provides Eivor”s adventure with improvements and bug fixes as well as new content and the return of an in-game event. We provide you with an overview!
However, you will still have to say goodbye to Valhalla in 2022 – at least as far as support for the Assassin game is concerned. With The Last Chapter, Ubisoft will give the current Assassin”s Creed one last free update.

Content: What does Update 1.6.1 offer?
Update 1.6.1 brings Assassin”s Creed Valhalla several improvements and bug fixes, which you can read about in detail on page 2 of this article in the patch notes. We have summarised the information on the most important new content for you as follows:
- Graves of the Fallen Package 2: Three new dungeons are waiting to be explored with Update 1.6.1. The tombs, filled with puzzles and traps, should once again beckon with valuable loot. By the way, this is the last Graves of the Fallen package.
- The Rune Forge as a new building: With the Rune Forge you can add a new building to your settlement from level 4. As the name suggests, it lets you produce runes and also buy and sell them for silver. Players should note, however, that runes from the DLCs for Valhalla are not supported by the forge.
- Return of the Oskoreia Festival: Gamers of Valhalla already know this in-game event, of course. From 20 October to 10 November, you can once again try your hand at the activities and quests and pick up various rewards.
- New rewards via Ubisoft Connect: Last but not least, there are a handful of free in-game goodies (like customisations for your settlements and new tattoos) that you can unlock via Ubisoft Connect.
