The Season Pass for the new Ubisoft game contains two expansions and a few cosmetic bonuses. We have all the known information about the release and the contents of the DLCs

On December 7, 2023, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the new action-adventure game from Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment, will be released. And even before the release, the developers are now revealing two story DLCs that will expand the story of the Na’vi.

We explain exactly what’s inside and when you can expect the DLCs. You can get an overview of the content in the Season Pass trailer:

What does the Season Pass offer?

The most important content in the Season Pass are two story DLCs, which are referred to as “story packs” and apparently function similarly to the expansions for AC Valhalla, i.e. a new quest line and a new area.

“The Sky Breaker”: This DLC mainly revolves around a nomadic Na’vi clan that roams the vast plains of Pandora. There is also talk of “old friends”, which could be characters from the films. The DLC is scheduled for release in summer 2024.

“Secrets of the Spires”: Here you explore a completely new area where the RDA (humans) have built a huge mining facility. You’ll be attacking the operation from the back of your trusty Ikran, so be prepared for plenty of dogfights. This DLC is scheduled for release in fall 2024

If you buy the Season Pass, you will also receive a bonus mission that will be added to the game right at launch, in which you infiltrate an RDA base. There are also a few cosmetic bonuses such as alternative outfits for your Na’vi character or the Ikran.

The price of the Season Pass is not yet known, but it is included with the purchase of the Gold (110 euros) or Ultimate Edition (130 euros). The base game costs 70 euros. The DLCs can presumably also be purchased individually at a later date; in AC Valhalla, these expansions cost 25 euros each and the Season Pass 40 euros. Frontiers of Pandora may be based on this, which also fits in with the different price ranges.

The question is: Will you buy the Season Pass for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora straight away or would you rather wait and see how much you like the main game first?
