The role-playing game is well received by game fans worldwide, that is well known. New statistics confirm how crazy this game and the community are.
It should no longer be news that Baldur’s Gate 3 is a popular role-playing game. On Steam, over 500,000 adventurers have already simultaneously explored the world of Faerûn, completed quests and met unique characters.
Developer Larian has now taken this success as an opportunity to publish some impressive statistics. Don’t worry, we don’t mean boring business figures that are presented in a poorly prepared PowerPoint presentation over coffee and cake.
We are talking about facts about you. About Baldur’s Gate 3. About numbers that are simply curious, sometimes also really impressive. Enough talking, let’s take a look at them together!
1225 years, 93 percent and Gale fanboys
Well, have you played through Baldur’s Gate 3 yet? Like, what? You haven’t? Whoa, you guys are slow! After all, 368 players have already played through the role-playing game during the launch weekend At least that’s what one of the numerous statistics Larian has published on its social media channels says:
Last weekend, you played 1225 years of Baldur’s Gate 3. As we head into the second weekend of launch, we’ve compiled some tasty stats for you to sink your teeth into.

What else do we have here? Ah, this is interesting: over 93 per cent of the game’s audience opted for a custom avatar rather than a pre-made Origin character at the start of their adventure. For this, fans have spent a cumulative 88 years in the editor.
While we’re on the subject of Origin characters: When it comes to Origin characters, Gale is the fan favourite which I’m sure has something to do with that fancy hair! A real heartbreaker, on the other hand, is Astarion, who has given nearly 100,000 players the boot
Among the races, the half-elves can be happy about their place at the top. The most played class so far is the Paladin.
And finally, the best statistic of all: The dog Kratzer has been petted over 750,000 times, which makes him a serious contender in our next election for the best dog in video games.
What do you say to all the statistics around Baldur’s Gate 3? Do you enjoy such number games or do you have no nerves for such things at the moment because you want to play the game 24 hours a day? Have you not stroked Kratzer? No, we wouldn’t put it past any of you. Anyway, feel free to write us your opinion in the comments!
