Warner Bros. Games has introduced Batgirl in the new Gotham Knights trailer tonight. In it, we not only learn a lot about her motivation for being a hero. We also learn a lot about her fighting style.

If anyone was born to protect, it was Barbara Gordon. As the daughter of the now-deceased Commissioner James Gordon, she has a great sense of justice and stands up for the downtrodden in Gotham City. Whether she does this as Batgirl or Oracle is irrelevant to her. This inner strength makes her an important core of the Gotham Knights.

Aside from her strong spirit, however, Batgirl has a lot of other aces up her sleeve. For example, she is skilled in a number of weaponless fighting styles, but also knows how to use the tonfa. She also uses a lot of gadgets in battle to keep the upper hand. Apart from that, she also has a high level of skill and experience with computers. Hacking into technical systems and making codes is child’s play for the IT expert.

Gotham Knights will be released on 25 October for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-orders are possible on the (official website).
