The release of Battlefield 2042 has been postponed to 06 October. But now codes seem to be surfacing. Does this mean that the beta will start soon after all?
The first beta codes of the game Battlefield 2042 have been sent out. But the release of the main game was postponed by one month to 19 November 2021. Now speculation is rife as to whether the beta will begin earlier.
Beta codes from Amazon
Some gamers:inside who pre-ordered Battlefield on Amazon seem to have already received codes for the beta. But this is confusing for some after the postponement of the release date. However, fans then found that the codes did not work. Therefore, some turned to EA itself.
Battlefield’s community manager posted a tweet in response to the huge demand, explaining that different retailers are handling the postponed release differently. Amazon has started sending out codes, but this is not an indication of an earlier beta. He therefore advises fans to contact the respective retailer they pre-ordered from to get more detailed information.
We have also contacted EA directly. No codes have been sent out from the official side yet.
@PartWelsh how will beta codes for those that pre-ordered be sent out dude?
Should I watch for an email from Playstation? Or will it be just added to the system?

That probably means no earlier beta. However, there is supposed to be more information on the release of Battlefield 2042 in September. What Tom Henderson, an EA leaker, has said so far is that the beta will probably start on 6 October for all pre-orderers. On 08 October it will start for everyone else. A statement on this is expected to follow soon.
