Battlefield 2042 is already playable. At least for a few who were lucky enough to get access to a strictly limited alpha version. And of course, not everyone abides by the NDA rules, which is why information about Battlefield 2042 can already be found on the net that was not actually intended for the public.
And that could have serious consequences for leakers: Because in order to participate in the technical playtest, willing players naturally had to sign a confidentiality agreement. Now EA obviously feels compelled to point this out to alpha testers once again.

EA’s community manager, Adam Freeman, once again points out the NDA signed by testers on Twitter. And anyone who shares their account and uploads screenshots or gameplay videos to the net is of course in massive breach of the non-disclosure agreement for the playtest of Battlefield 2042.
These are the penalties leakers face: Anyone caught leaking Battlefield 2042 content will of course lose their access to the current playtest phase. In addition, these players will also be excluded from all future playtests by EA.
What should definitely make leakers, or those thinking about it, gulp, however, is the following warning: those who violate the NDA could even be locked out of the final release and thus not be able to play the finished Battlefield 2042 under normal circumstances.

This is what we know thanks to new leaks: A lot of information from the closed alpha phase of Battlefield 2042 has nevertheless already landed on the net. For example, that Melee kills now take place in third person, there are different types of ammunition or a verbal ping system.
