New gameplay details and screenshots have emerged for the mobile version of Battlefield. And they promise features from the “big” series.

Battlefield will soon be available for mobile phones: With Battlefield Mobile, EA’s big shooter is also landing on small devices – specifically Android and iOS. And if you’re wondering how exactly this works, new gameplay details and screenshots have now appeared in the Google Play Store.

They not only promise features from the Battlefield version for PC and consoles, but also remind us a little of a very specific main part of the series: Battlefield 3.

This is what Battlefield Mobile wants to offer in terms of gameplay

The official page for Battlefield Mobile in the Google Play Store currently contains the following information about the gameplay:

Playable Classes: Assault, Support, Medic and Recon

Vehicles like tanks or ATVs are available

– The environment on the maps is “to a large extent” destructible, which can be used for one’s own playful advantage.

– There shall be old familiar, but also new maps and modes

weapons, gadgets and skins can be personalised and upgraded

– Players can join battalions or form Squads

This is what the screenshots for Battlefield Mobile show: In-game images for Battlefield Mobile already show the loadout menu, exploding buildings, vehicles and a map that clearly reminds of Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3. Many assets also seem to come from that game, as fans have already noted on Twitter. Just take a look at the pictures yourself:

When will Battlefield Mobile be released?

Battlefield Mobile still doesn’t have a concrete release date. However, the official release date has at least been set for “sometime in 2022”. By the way, iToys (Midnight Star: Renegade) is responsible for the development in close cooperation with DICE.

For fans of mobile games such as Call of Duty: Mobile or PUBG Mobile, Battlefield Mobile should certainly be interesting.
