Shortly before release, Sony has announced the system requirements for Spider-Man 2 on PC.
During the course of today, Spider-Man 2 should be released for the PC. Just yesterday, Sony released the system requirements for Spider-Man’s latest adventure on the PC
With 720p and 30 FPS, Spider-Man 2 also runs on older systems. For the high settings, Sony recommends a GeForce RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6800 as a minimum. If raytracing is activated, however, an RTX 4070 or RX 7900 XT is required.
These are the system requirements for Spider-Man 2 for the PC
The Spider-Man 2 system requirements come in six different configurations.
Nixxes has split the system requirements into two parts. In addition to the minimum, recommended and high system requirements, there are three more for ray tracing.

For all configurations, Sony requires at least 16 gigabytes of storage and 140 gigabytes of free storage on an SSD. The operating systems start with Windows 10.
Minimum system requirements: On the lowest settings, 30 FPS and 720p, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT is sufficient.
- Sony recommends an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 as the processor.
Recommended settings: If you want to play at 60 FPS and 1080p, the graphics card should be at least an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or an AMD Radeon RX 5700.
- An Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 is specified by Sony as the processor.
High system requirements: You can enjoy high settings, 1440p and 60 FPS, with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 or better.
- For the processors, Sony specifies the Intel Core i5-11400 and AMD Ryzen 5 5600.
Raytracing requirements: Raytracing only starts at an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card.
The highest settings, 4K and 60 FPS, require at least an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 and 32 gigabytes of memory.
Finally, Sony has some good news for PC gamers. Spider-Man 2 for PC will not require a PSN account.
