Big Halloween sales started at Epic and GOG: Here are the 13 best deals

At Epic and GOG you can start the fall with a lot of reduced games. We have picked out the best offers for you

The two current sales in the Epic Games Store and on GOG couldn’t be more different: While horror reigns at Epic and numerous horror games are on sale, GOG provides autumnal relaxation with cozy games.

We have thoroughly searched both stores and compiled the best offers for you. All offers from one store are valid for the same period of time. At Epic Games the sale runs until November 1 at 16:00 and at GOG you have until October 24 at 00:00.

Highlight at Epic: Dead Island 2

Although Dead Island 2 had to cope with two developer changes and several postponements, in the end it came out quite respectable zombie-slaughtering.

Alone or in coop with up to four players you fight your way through the undead infested Los Angeles. Dead Island 2 does without an open world and sends you on absurd missions in spacious, but closed areas. You’ll meet a lot of wacky characters that bring a good portion of humor into the game.
For those who can’t get enough of the really bloody zombie brawl, there will be two DLCs in the future. Exact release dates, however, are not yet available.

Highlight at GOG: Gris

Gris is a game turned work of art. There are no enemies to fight and no other dangers. Through a colorful and intricately designed game world, you control the girl Gris and help her deal with grief she has experienced.

There are light puzzles and platform passages in the 2D world, and there is no speech throughout the game. Text overlays exist only as an explanation of the controls. Gris tells his story via colors, images and music
