This makes the mobile version of League of Legends one of a small number of titles that have managed to break the magic “one billion” barrier in China. To be precise, it is said to be 101 games (+ Wild Rift) as well as 26 apps.
Currently, Wild Rift is one of the five most played mobile MOBAs in China. In terms of user numbers, the game has so far been beaten by Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Honor of Kings, Arena of Valor and Pokémon Unite. In terms of sales, however, Riot Games has already left the competition from Nintendo behind with Pokémon Unite.
