For seven years now, the Black Desert franchise has been delighting its fan community. Over the years, the fan base has continued to grow and now the franchise has reached a huge milestone. This joyful news coincides with the 12th anniversary of developer Pearl Abyss. To celebrate these two moments, fans will benefit from various offers.

In 2010, the Korean developer studio Pearl Abyss was founded. Shortly after, they began developing Black Desert Online, which was released in South Korea in 2014 and in the West in 2016. A lot has happened since then. The franchise is now available on PCconsoles and mobile devices and available in 150 countries  As Pearl Abyss now reports, a new milestone has now been reached. Over 50 million players are now among the MMORPG’s fan community.

Both news are a great reason to celebrate – and Pearl Abyss invites you to do so. Until 19 September at 7pm you can play Black Desert Online on Steam for free. With its sandbox setting, the MMORPG invites you on a massive exploration tour, where exciting adventures and massive boss fights await you. In addition, the revolutionary customisation system offers you an individual adaptation of your avatars.

You will soon be able to meet community members again. Black Desert will also be represented at TwitchCon in San Diego. There, North American and European teams will meet in 3v3 tournaments during the Solar Invitational Finals.
