Various sites have shared new gameplay footage of Black Myth: Wukong. These include two boss battles, showcasing the game’s dynamic combat system. However, fans are irritated as there is still no user interface to be seen.
In the latest gameplay footage for Black Myth: Wukong, the titular protagonist is seen fighting two bosses. These are the wolf-like Guangzhi and the dragon Red Loong.
In addition to the fluid animation, fans seem to be particularly impressed by the detailed landscapes. For example, Wukong fights with Guangzhi in front of several temples with a lush forest rustling in the wind in the background. In the fight with Red Loong, you find yourself in a barren rocky landscape, which is no less atmospheric. You can see the two fights for yourself in the following video..
In recent months, Game Science has often shown new gameplay footage. However, it is noticeable that these mostly seem to be PC versions. So we don’t yet know what the action adventure looks like on the PlayStation 5. In addition, the gameplay videos released so far have still not shown any user interface. This behavior is unsettling some fans and raises the question of whether Black Myth: Wukong could be postponed again. However, Game Science has not yet commented on a possible postponement
While some fans are rather critical of the title, others are looking forward to the upcoming release of Black Myth: Wukong. Many are eager to experience Chinese history in a new guise from a rather unknown studio.
The action adventure game is scheduled for release on August 20 for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5.
