In Broken Roads, you go into the post-apocalyptic outback of Australia. The game clearly relies on old role-playing game strengths. Titles like Baldur’s Gate or Disco Elysium are very similar to the new project, at least at first glance. Whether the story can hold a candle to the latter remains to be seen. After all, Disco Elysium made it onto our list of the best story games of all time!
The new trailer already lets us immerse ourselves a little in the Australian end-time world with Aussie slang and atmospheric images. Broken Roads will be released in 2023, an exact release date is not yet known.
