A new cinematic trailer shows how atmospheric the dark fantasy building game Gord could become.The trailer doesn’t give much away aside from atmosphere, however it is now known that Team17 will be the publisher behind developer Covenant’s project.
Gord is a single-player game inspired by Slavic folklore in which you fight for survival in the Forbidden Lands as the Tribe of Dawn. You explore the hostile environment and build a settlement among ancient monsters and deities. To prevent them from stealing your mind, you must always keep an eye on the condition of your tribal people while you build, pursue quests or even fight. The release is currently planned for 2022.
