The developers of Expansive World expand their hunting ground with the latest simulation. While in the first part of the series we were still hunting deer, in Call of The Wild: The Angler everything revolves around fishing. But we don’t just choose our fishing spot in lame menus, we also have to drive to our spots in the open world, either by car or by boat.

How does it play? The Angler takes the term simulation extremely seriously and promises individual behaviour of each fish species, which forces us to try out different techniques, rods and lures. In addition, there are supposed to be different fishing skills that we have to unlock and learn over time. But also the external conditions such as water temperature or the depth of a river play a role and determine where you encounter which fish species.

Go fishing with eleven other friends: The developers are already promoting the multiplayer mode on the associated (Steam product page). There you can team up with up to eleven other anglers to swing the rods together. Unfortunately, the developers have not yet revealed an exact release date or the price.
