What’s it about? In the retro role-playing game Cassette Beasts, everything revolves around collecting many and above all strong monsters. The parallels to the cult series Pokémon cannot be denied. However, you don’t let the creatures fight for you, but transform into one yourself. With the help of cassettes, you save the monsters you find and can transform into them in battles. But that’s not all: you can also combine the strengths of the different creatures and take on different monster forms.

What else is there? Cassette Beasts has a freely explorable open world. Many puzzles await you, which can also be found in complex dungeons. As in the original, you can use monster abilities to make exploration easier by flying, climbing or swimming. In the turn-based battles, you must master the elementals and choose attacks tactically. However, you will meet many companions along your journey who will help you in battle.

When will the monster adventure be released? There is no exact release date yet, however Cassette Beasts will be released for the PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.
