Which skill is worthwhile in New World? How do I level my character? A practical and free tool provides you with the answer.
New World does without fixed classes. Instead, you level up different stats, use points to screw new attacks and bonuses onto your weapons and thus become better by using them – Skyrim sends its regards. Nevertheless, there is the possibility to play your own builds with focuses. We’ll even introduce you to one of them in detail – the battle-hardened healer.
Not your thing? A free tool will help you find the perfect balance between the different stats and create your own build before the MMO’s release. We explain how the build tool from Newworldfans.com works and what other features are available.
How the build tool works
At the moment the tool is only available in English. It is quite conceivable that a German version will follow after the release – after all, New World is also completely playable in German.
You can give each build its own name and also store a purpose. This allows you to quickly switch between different class builds.
The tool also helps you choose the right weapons and equipment. As in New World itself, you can create two different weapon sets and assign the respective abilities to one of the three slots. The tool helps you not only in PvE, but also in PvP, where other priorities are needed than in the fight against monsters.
Equipment is even more extensive: The individual slots have a search function via text, or you can scroll through the individual items until you find the right one. You get the corresponding values for each piece of equipment and the optional slots for gems can also be occupied.
What else can the build tool do and what is missing?
The tool itself, like New World itself, is still in beta. The effects of attributes on your health, mana and stamina are not yet calculated. Builds can be created for levels 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60. The attribute points to be distributed are automatically adjusted to the level.
Each build can be given a description and saved. However, you need an account on the website to save the respective build. After the build is created, a link is generated that you can also send to friends. If you don’t want to share your own build with everyone else, you can switch on the option “Private Build ”
