Door Kickers 2 game

The new agents in Door Kickers 2 are hardly noticeable. Much like the fact that the game continues to morph into a real tactics heavyweight!

As early as April we noted: Door Kickers 2 makes players happy who miss the gameplay of the old SWAT, Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon parts. Unfortunately, the article was hardly read and Door Kickers 2 continues to lead a shadowy existence as a small secret tip on Steam

Wrongly so, as the developers are now proving with their latest update! Because once again Door Kickers 2 becomes even more tactical and diverse:

  • What can the new unit do? With the CIA Special Activities Division, the developers are introducing a second playable faction that you can now lead into battle alongside the Army Rangers. The special feature here: the undercover class can infiltrate enemy lines undetected by equipping weapons of the other side (such as AKs or Uzis) and by relying on civilian clothing.
  • What’s the point? With CIA operators playable in every mission, you can now approach the entire game with a stealth focus and try completely new approaches to old familiar missions. In co-op, you can even combine rangers and CIA agents! But beware: if you pack an agent too full of equipment under his cover, he could be blown.
  • What else is new? The arsenal grows with numerous new weapons and for the first time rocket launchers such as the AT4 and RPG-26 are also playable. In addition, there are completely new mission types with the Strongholds, in which you have to destroy a terrorist weapons depot. By the way, you can now also manage and equip your squads conveniently in the main menu outside of missions.
  • What happens now? The developers plan to add more special units with individual abilities during the Early Access period, and missions in the dark with night vision devices are also in the works. Drones, new NPCs, more locations and a mission generator are also planned.
In addition to the big new features, a lot of bugs have been fixed and smaller features implemented, a complete list can be found in the official Steam blog post for the DK2 update
