Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3

Cyberpunk 2077 gets many improvements, bug fixes, quest fixes and for the first time free DLCs with Update 1.3. Here is all the info including patch notes.

After a long radio silence, the time has come: the next big patch for Cyberpunk 2077 is in the starting blocks. Update 1.3 is coming “very, very soon”, aims to improve tons of issues in the game and brings Night City as free DLC for the first time. So now you know, we see and …. oh, you want to know what the DLCs and improvements are all about? Okay, let’s take a look.

But an important warning: in this article we will focus on the main improvements, but you will find all the patch notes from CD Projekt, but they contain spoilers!

If you haven’t played Cyberpunk 2077 yet and want to be completely fresh, you should avoid the patch notes. Alternatively, you can visit CD Projekt themselves, where the spoilers are folded in. So, enough preliminary banter.

Patch 1.3: Release and download size

Patch 1.3 is freshly released, so you can start downloading at any time. The following download sizes can currently be found on the net:

PS5: 40 GB
PS4: 40 GB
PC (Steam & GOG): 33 GB
Xbox Series XS: 37 GB

We couldn’t find the PS4 download size anywhere yet – we’ll check the PC size again manually. Either way, this is a hefty package, so plan on download times accordingly.

Cyberpunk 2077: The most important new features of patch 1.3

In general, Patch 1.3 should make those happy who are already playing Cyberpunk 2077 or are considering doing so. The update neither fundamentally turns the game upside down, nor does it reinvent all the areas that disappointed many people at launch. The first DLCs are also likely to elicit a “nice touch” from most rather than a genuine squeal of delight.

Revised Stealth: The stealth system is noticeably expanded. How guards react to you now differs depending on the difficulty level. On high difficulty levels, the AI will now act much more aggressively when you act conspicuously

Improved minimap: Requested by many fans, previously only solvable as a mod, but now also official – the minimap now zooms out further when driving so that you can navigate more easily and orientate yourself better.

Smarter Cops: The police will be further improved. For example, cops will no longer attack you if there’s a dead body lying around. Who knows how it got there? In addition, you will now also be hit if you attack passers-by with non-lethal weapons.

Fewer Calls: Fixers calling you every five minutes to try to sell you V cars can be annoying. That’s why it happens less often now.

V rotate: You can now look at your V or your V in the inventory completely freely, i.e. change the angle of view with the mouse like in most role-playing games. A long overdue feature to be able to appreciate your cool clothes properly

Better markings: It is now clearly visible whether you have already defused a landmine. Vital difference

Skye or Angel: Many people have complained that you barely have time to look at the decision options in the Doll quest. This is now different.

Redistribute Skills: A button has been added to redistribute your advantage points.

– Some Perks have been fixed and now work properly.

What do the first free DLCs offer?

There are three free DLCs in patch 1.3, but you have to activate them in the game first. Specifically, these are:

– New look for Johnny: You can now make Mister Silverhand look different. Simply activate the alternative skin in the menu under Bonus Content.

Two new jackets: The synthetic leather deltajock jacket and the glowing punk jacket can now be activated in the game. You will receive a message from Viktor after the quest The Joyride and you will also receive schematics for making higher quality jackets

New Vehicle: The Archer Quartz Bandit will be available for purchase or as a reward after the Ghost Town quest. You will need to leave Dakota’s workshop and wait a few days for a message from Dakota or Rogue

You’ll notice: The three cosmetic DLCs alone probably won’t get scared-off cyberpunk fans back on board to Night City (does a boat even go to Night City?). On the other hand, with the fixes CD Projekt is addressing precisely the construction sites that the active community is currently addressing again and again.
