It’s finally possible for PS5 users to connect Discord to their console. This is how it works!
The Playstation community has been waiting for this feature for ages – now it’s possible: You can finally connect the Playstation 5 with Discord to communicate with your friends.
Connect Discord to PS5
To connect your PS5 to Discord, you need to follow these steps:
- Go to Settings ☺ Users and Accounts ☺ Linked Services
- Select Discord from the list and follow the on-screen instructions to link your accounts
Also good to know:
If you don’t want to play together with your friends, but prefer to explore the single player worlds yourself, you can also hide your online status. If you set your PSN status to Offline, you will also be shown as Offline to your friends on Discord.
You don’t need a PlayStation Plus membership to use this feature. So Discord on the PS5 is completely free.
