Nvidia will probably not only bring new graphics cards to CES 2025, but also DLSS 4. However, details about AI upscaling are still scarce.
CES 2025 is coming up next week. The trade fair, traditionally held as the kick-off to the technology year 2025, will take place this time from January 7th to 11th. In the evening and during the night before, some important companies are already inviting people to presentations.
Among them is Nvidia: the GPU manufacturer is responsible for the official opening of CES 2025 and will hold it with its own keynote. The new RTX 5000 graphics cards are expected to be presented at this event – along with the new generation of AI upscaling DLSS.
A dealer entry for a custom GPU from Asus based on the upcoming RTX 5080 is currently circulating on the X-platform. Among other things, the product description explicitly mentions “DLSS 4”

In response to the allegations that the information was falsified, the reliable leaker “kopite7kimi” also came forward and confirmed that DLSS 4 is indeed on its way.
However, further details about the improvements and new features that Nvidia wants to bring with DLSS 4 are missing. In view of past generations, it is also questionable whether the new upscaling variation will be reserved exclusively for the RTX-50 series.
