A Marvel Rivals player achieves the Celestial rank with almost no damage or kills – there was just a small accident.

If you play Marvel Rivals, you’re probably familiar with the problem: In many matches, people immediately choose a damage dealer, while supporters or tanks are ignored.

The consequence: Nobody wants to change and your team quickly becomes an uncoordinated chaos troop in which everyone fights for themselves. That’s why sometimes you wish you had a teammate who was fully focused on team play – and that’s what a player named NoDmgRocket has perfected.

With a completely pacifist approach, he has managed to reach one of the highest ranks in the game, without landing a single kill.

A career without violence

While many players in Marvel Rivals rely on damage records and eliminations, NoDmgRocket proves that success is also possible by other means. With just 22 damage points dealt, he has made it to the Celestial rank – the third highest in the game.

His secret weapon? The fluffy but deadly Rocket Raccoon. Or, in this case, not deadly at all.

NoDmgRocket took an almost pacifist approach to the game, focusing entirely on support. His approach: Instead of taking out opponents, he keeps his team alive, revives fallen comrades and supports them with his damage boost.

He only uses his weapon when he has to destroy in-game objects like Moonknight’s ankhs – attacking other players is taboo. Actually.

In one of his videos, he shows a rare but amusing incident.: During a hectic game situation, he made a mistake– he accidentally hit an enemy player with one of his shots:

On Reddit, another player asked him if he regretted that left click. His curt reply: Yes… 🙁

What makes this achievement particularly remarkable is that NoDmgRocket managed the majority of his games in the solo queue. Anyone who has ever found themselves alone in a match knows that it often feels like a lottery: a team that works well together is rare.

Nevertheless, he managed to prevail thanks to his well-thought-out playing style – his win rate in ranked mode is an impressive 66 percent, which means that he is likely to go on improving.
