After revealing the real reason for his ban from Twitch, his key business partners have now turned their backs on Dr Disrespect
The recent allegations against Guy Herschel Beahm, also known as Dr Disrespect, have rocked the streaming community over the past few days. Former Twitch employees allege that Dr Disrespect sent inappropriate messages to a minor in 2017 and planned a meeting at TwitchCon.
These allegations have since led to drastic measures, and the career and reputation of Twitch’s former figurehead appear to be beyond saving.
Dr Disrespect loses important partners
The reactions were not long in coming: YouTube, Dr Disrespect’s main platform after his Twitch ban in 2020, demonetized his channel. From now on, he can no longer generate revenue here, neither through advertising nor through paid channel memberships
