EA has released the first trailer for Dragon Age 4. It is called The Veilguard and is scheduled for release in 2024

At the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, 2024, a new Dragon Age was finally revealed after almost a decade. However, it is not called Dreadwolf, as previously assumed, but The Veilguardand is due to be released this year.

There are no game scenes yet, but some of the characters and companions you will meet in the role-playing game have already been shown. Some of them will look more than familiar to you as loyal fans. You can find out all the known information in this article

What does the new trailer show?

The reveal trailer for Dragon Age: The Veilguard shows for the first time some of the characters you will encounter in Bioware’s upcoming role-playing game. Two of them are old acquaintances, becausethe two dwarves Varric and Hardingalready made an appearance inDragon Age: Inquisition. Harding will apparently also be at your side as a companion

Other companions who may be unfamiliar to you are the detective Neve, the mage-slayer Lucanis, the veil-jumper Bellara, the necromancer Emmerich, the guardian Davrin and the dragon hunter Taash. You will join forces with them to face the gods and send them to the eternal hunting grounds. You can see the full trailer here:

What else has been announced?

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to be released for PC and Xbox Series X/S in fall 2024 and will be playable directly at release via PC and Xbox Game Pass.
