Finally we know when Bioware will unleash the fourth part of the role-playing game series on the fans. There’s also a new video to marvel at
Bioware has kept its word and announced the release date for Dragon Age: The Veilguard as previously announced. Fans won’t have to wait much longer, as the fantasy role-playing game will be released on October 31, 2024
In the course of this announcement, the developers have also released a new trailer to whet your appetite for more. You can watch the atmospheric little movie here:
Pre-order possible with bonuses
From now on, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is also available for pre-orderIn the official storeyou have the choice between the standard or deluxe edition. In both cases there are pre-order bonuses, which we will now list:
- Standard Edition: Cosmetic blood dragon armor sets for the warrior, mage and rogue classes.
- Deluxe Edition: The contents of the standard version plus three armor sets and six weapons for the character Rook. Plus seven armor sets and weapons for your companions.

The announcement of the release date along with the new trailer is just a small part of a whole marketing machine that is set to kick off in the coming weeks. Bioware has already revealed this on X (formerly Twitter):

In just a few days – on August 19, 2024 to be precise – a new gameplay video about the Warrior will be released. On August 26, we can look forward to new insights into our soon-to-be party members.
On August 30, there will be a Q&A with the development team on the official Discord server. And from September 3, it will be raining news on IGN for a whole month. So good news all round for fans.
Further events are also planned beyond September until the release, but Bioware is not yet going into detail.
