Have you lost your way in Dragon’s Dogma 2 and suddenly find yourself in front of a precipice? As a magical archer, you can take the direct route
In the large open world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 there is no conventional fast travel function, which is why you have to cover many distances on foot. This makes it all the more annoying when you lose your way and suddenly find yourself in front of an insurmountable abyss. However, not every class has to turn around here: The Magic Archer can make use of a clever but mean trick.
An ingenious idea
Clever players came up with the idea of exploiting several game mechanics for a shortcut:
- You can throw minions and other characters over your shoulder, carry them around and even throw them.
- Vasalls can catch you if you are thrown away by an opponent or fall down somewhere.
- The Magic Archer can shoot an arrow that revives or heals allies.
Well, can you figure it out for yourself? The trick is to lift a minion and throw it off the cliff. The injured companion is then revived with the healing arrow. Finally, the player himself jumps down and is dutifully caught by the minion. But see for yourself:

This tactic is of course a little nasty towards the unsuspecting minion, but it’s pretty practical. But be warned: apparently there is no guarantee that your minion will always catch you. At least that Getia Viraan reported in a comment on the video. His minions would have simply let him land mercilessly in the dirt.
By the way, not only allies can be thrown: Smaller enemies and innocent creatures such as rabbits and pigs can also be picked up and thrown. Your minions can then even catch them And to cross chasms, you can even turn staggering enemies into a bridge
