In April of this year, Dune: Spice Wars entered Early Access. Now Shiro Games and Funcam present an important update for the strategy game: the multiplayer mode. Now you can challenge your friends to an exciting battle for the Spice.

Who will get the upper hand in the battle for the Spice? You can now ask yourself this question together with your friends. Multiplayer mode is now available in Dune: Spice Wars, giving you several ways to play. On the one hand, you can challenge each other in 2v2 matches and make strategic decisions in teamwork. Then there’s the Free-for-all mode, where up to four players enter the fray for the precious resource. Choose between the Atreides, Harkonnen, Fremen or Smugglers and fight for victory for your faction.

The release of the multiplayer mode is far from over. As Funcom presents in the roadmap, another update is to follow this summer. This is to contain a brand new faction. On an unannounced date, another update will send you into close contact with your commanders. We will present the further plans to you in more detail in an article.

If you haven’t tried Dune: Spice Wars yet, it’s worth buying it now. There is currently a 20% discount on (Steam).
