A new update fixes an annoying bug that has plagued the sports game so far – but only on the PC.

At the release of EA Sports FC 25, it wasn’t just in the penalty area that curious scenes could occur. In the game’s menus, too, players occasionally twisted their way around unusually often This was due to a noticeable delay in input – in some menus, such as the Ultimate Team store, there was even a possibility of lag.

New patch takes a proactive approach to menu issues

This rough menu performance has of course caused one or two angry coach speeches in the team changing rooms of the internet (Reddit)

The new Update 2 has already been installed on the PC at least and is rather small, but in particular the delays in the main menu should be a thing of the past with it – which occasionally got on your nerves quite a bit. But that’s what you actually go into an online game for.

The update has so far only been released for PC. Those playing on PlayStation or Xbox will have to be a little more patient. Crossplay has been disabled until the update is active on all platforms.

What should be improved?

It’s not just the lag in the menus that is currently being complained about. Some players are also experiencing delays in the actual game. At least the input lag is currently being widely discussed. Apparently, disabling the reaction time modifier in the options can help in some cases.

Where most fans at least agree, however, is on the new Rush mode. The game with few players and on a small field is currently a huge hit and is being touted as the best new feature in years.
