A mod allows you to fight with characters from Elden Ring in Tekken 7. It’s so good, in fact, that some consider it an official crossover (1).
Crossovers in games have always been popular: whether it’s Geralt hunting in Monster Hunter or creatures from Stranger Things suddenly haunting the world of Far Cry, it’s usually a fun idea and goes down well. Especially in fighting games, people like to investigate questions of balance of power: How well would Rambo do against the Terminator, for example?
Now players can find out whether Radahn or even a giant lobster from Elden Ring can keep up with Tekken characters in combat. This makes for a surprisingly good mod for Tekken 7, which some even mistakenly thought was an official crossover.
This is what the Elden Ring mod offers
Those who want to try out the mod for themselves can download it from the website (Tekkenmods). In the trailer you can see how the work of the modder Ultraboy looks in action. The Elden Ring mod adds 8 new presets to the game for existing characters, which apparently use the respective models from the game by Fromsoftware. The following Elden Ring characters, monsters or looks thus become playable:
- Melina
- Malenia
- Giant Lobster
- Alexander
- Prisoner
- Radahn
- Raging Wolf Armor
- Ranni
- Torrent, ghost horse
So if you’ve always wanted to fight Heihachi with Radahn or even get in the ring as a ghost horse, now’s your chance. If Tekken is too old for you by now, but you love Far Eastern fights, then read our sweat, blood and tears fought review of Sifu:

Is this official?
With its high quality, however, the mod also caused confusion: apparently some players thought the mod was an official crossover thanks to its professional-looking trailer. This caused disgruntlement among Tekken developer Katsuhiro Harada. Because apparently Tekken 7’s support and community manager are being bombarded by questions about the supposedly official content because of this.
The planned adaptation of Tekken as a Netflix series, on the other hand, is completely official. You can already watch a first trailer here.
