- A new ping function on the world map makes it possible to direct other players to a specific area in a multiplayer session.
- Servers can now be searched for and favorited via the IP in the server browser.
- The keys / buttons for jumping and sliding can now be assigned individually. By default, sliding is still assigned to the same button as jumping. If a different key is preferred, we recommend for example [CTRL] on the keyboard and [B]/[○] on the controller.
TECHNICAL IMPROVEMENTS & STABILITY
- Updating the game on Steam has been revised to enable faster updates in the future. Previously, every update, no matter how large, led to the patching of the entire 30 GB of game data on the hard disk. Now, only the affected areas will be patched. This change requires a one-time complete download and will only be noticeably faster for future updates.
- The stability of the save data has been further improved. As an additional security measure, the game now automatically creates backups of save data at regular intervals. If a save file becomes unreadable for any reason, a previous version will be loaded.
RENDERING AND PERFORMANCE
- The performance has been further improved. As always, performance and stability will remain a priority in the future.
- Support for Nvidia Reflex has been added. It can be switched on and off in the graphical settings if the hardware used supports the feature.
- A new setting has been added to the graphics settings to control image sharpness.
- A new setting has been added to switch contact shadows on and off.
- Added an option to turn off the optional micro spiders. The big spiders are still there and are controlled by tiny spiders in their brains.
GAMEPLAY
- More shields have been added to the progression.
- The Multishot skill no longer consumes multiple arrows when special arrows are selected. This made the skill too expensive overall. Sorry for spending so much time farming branches.
- Improved the functionality of the leech stat, e.g. on the “Ring of Endless Life”. It now has the ability to convert a certain percentage of damage dealt to enemies into health for the player.
- The player skill “Bloodletting” is no longer triggered by “Light Blast” and “Acid Cone”.
- Fixed an issue that caused too much critical damage for the Cone of Acid spell.
- Fixed an incorrect mana consumption when using the two skills “Begone” and “Sun Aura”. Also, Begone no longer causes mana consumption when combined with traps.
- Fixed an issue with bloodlust caused by traps.
- Fixed incorrect application of stun in multiplayer mode when using the Terror skill.
- The companion created by the skill “Necromancer” now follows the player more actively.
- Fixed an issue where the skill “Upwind” could be triggered multiple times per glider flight. You’re not supposed to be able to fly forever, no. You are not Jonathan Livingstone Seagull.
- The Breakthrough skill is no longer triggered by arrows.
- Healing another player with Water Aura is no longer reversed as damage if that player has Counter Blast.
- The skill “Shell Shock” now works as described, which is probably for the best.
- Guardian and Tower Aura no longer trigger when the player is down.
- When successfully overpowering enemies, the merciless attack can now be triggered faster.
- Small adjustments to the durability of the various weapon types. Melee weapons lose their durability a little slower, wands a little faster. Improved durability for rare items.
- Reaching ledges at the intended jump height is slightly more forgiving.
- Fixed an issue where the arrow and spell ammo could not be switched properly when the [Q] or [LT] key combination was selected with certain items in the action bar.
- Fixed an issue where the action bar and ammo selection could skip slots at higher framerates.

- Improved jumping behavior of enemies. Thought you were safe? Think again.
- Enemies can now block wand projectiles.
- Wand projectiles no longer automatically target bear traps.
- Using the wand to destroy props is now easier. Previously, the targeting function of wand projectiles did not work correctly on non-hostile objects.
- Fixed some cases where hitting enemies’ heads with arrows resulted in low damage values.
- The game now prohibits the use of fast travel while falling. You can’t magic yourself away from gravity.
- Fixed an issue where interaction prompts were displayed even though the interaction was not available (e.g. when sleeping).
- Fixed an issue where players could sit and regenerate stamina while falling
- Improved jumping behavior when sliding down muddy slopes. The player now has stronger forward momentum.

- Fixed a stamina issue with the Hawk Boots.
- The game now displays correct numbers when the player gains mana or stamina.

- Some clipping issues with armor pieces have been fixed.
- Collecting high rarity items from chests now works correctly.
GAMEWORLD
- Ground fog no longer occurs in the player base as the area is protected by the flame.

- Flame shrines now have a small ambient flame to indicate that the flame will grow back over time when the spark is collected.
- Fixed a quest marker near the southern caravan area that remained as a question mark even after exploring the area.
CRAFT, BUILD & TERRAFORM
- The visualization of player base boundaries now works better for combined areas with multiple flame altars and in cases where non-buildable areas overlap with the base.
- Fixed an issue where terrain voxels would sometimes become transparent when building too close to the upper limit of the playable area.
- Updated some fireplaces that did not offer the option to cook or did not provide heat for the rest buff.
- Another issue has been fixed where the growth state of plants such as berry bushes was not saved correctly in the player base.
- Added a quest for the “Spinning Wheel” to increase the visibility of the workstation.
- It is now possible to make potting soil with Emily. Potting soil makes flowers grow faster than normal soil.
- The orientation of some double doors has been improved so that they fit better into the voxel grid.
- Fixed a rare issue where building shapes could be placed in such a way that it was impossible to disassemble them as a whole.
- Fixed an issue where it was possible to build on the edges of certain zones where building and saving is not allowed.
- Hard wood is now used in additional recipes.
- Fixed an issue where objects could accidentally be mined through walls while interfering with seedling placement. Gardening should not destroy the entire house.
- Can undo when the construction hammer is selected but the construction menu is closed.
- Fixed a few cases where no-build zones on flower beds were misaligned.
- Fixed an issue where the terraforming VFX were missing in certain situations.
User interface / LOCALIZATION
- The character details screen has been updated and many stats have been improved or renamed to provide more clarity on gameplay effects.
- The visual clutter of enemy and player health bars has been reduced. Player health bars are now only displayed when players take damage, damage numbers are now only displayed per player. The stun bar of enemies is hidden if the value is 0. The life bar of critter-type enemies is hidden if they do not take damage.
- Damage numbers for enemies are now displayed closer to the health bar.
