The next wipe in Escape from Tarkov is coming up in December, and with it a few updates. Developer Battlestate Games shared a first glimpse in the form of a gameplay clip, which has already generated a lot of excitement within the community.

At regular intervals, Battlestate performs a so-called wipe in the popular MMO Escape from Tarkov. This gives the survival shooter a global reset, which always brings some updates with it

In the middle of the week, a gameplay clip was shown on Twitter that focused on an upcoming feature: Vaulting. This refers to climbing over smaller obstacles such as walls, railings or stones

Many community members are thrilled that this gameplay feature has finally found its way into Escape from Tarkov.
Others criticize that it took Battlestate too long to introduce this mechanic. Considering the circumstances that the development studio is quite small, this could probably be overlooked graciously.

In addition to the new climbing content, other new features are also coming to Escape from Tarkov after the December wipe. These include the new map Ground Zero, five new weapons, a new achievement system, the left shoulder look and armor adjustments.
